England’s performance came out as a bolt from the blue: ENG vs. AUS

An unearthly performance, brilliant piece of timing, spectacular batting and certainly the book of adjectives may end but the praise for England’s Cricket Team cannot cease. It was once again the English team who showed its dominance over one of the best sides of Cricket – Australia, in the One-day format of cricket in the 3rd ODI of the Australia tour of England on June 19, 2018.
The host team (England) recklessly beat their tough competitors Australia in their home ground at Trent Bridge, Nottingham. The other Cricket playing nations must consider it as England’s roar for the upcoming One-Day Cricket World Cup in 2019. The England Cricket team has set up a new record by scoring 481 runs in just 50 overs.
Oh, my Goodness!! It’s obviously not wrong to say that certain teams might not be able to score 481 runs even in a test match and the English batsmen have done this miracle just in a limited over format. It was ENG vs. AUS the 3rd ODI, which gave everyone the feeling that a Cricket lover aspires for!
In ENG vs. AUS, 3rd ODI, the England openers got the start perfectly and it was a misfortune for Jason Roy, who got run out but was looking in a perfect touch. Later Jonny Bairstow and Alex Hales did a partnership and both achieved their respective hundreds. Both of these batsmen played brilliantly with a Strike Rate of above 150.
The English Wicketkeeper, however, remained silent and went to the pavilion a bit early. At the latter end, their captain Eoin Morgan played the role of a finisher magnificently and showed what a blasting batsman he is! Morgan scored 67 runs in just 30 balls with a Strike rate of above 200.
The English team smashed 21 big sixes and 41 classic fours, giving the spectators the worth of their money. From the bowling department, it was a One-Man show by David Willey, who took 4 wickets. The kangaroos were in a drastic pressure as it was visible from their batting squad as they got 4 run outs. Even during their bowling, the Kangaroos were dropping their jaws over the shots of England’s batsmen and used 8 bowlers, but none of them could be of great help.
Anyone would have jumped out from one’s skin if he had got the chance to watch that match on the ground. A moment of praise for the England Cricket team. Twitter also went in praise for the team’s exceptional performance and setting a new class of the World Record.
Next England is going to face India as their opponents in England only, so it’s the time for Kohli and company to look at their basics very strongly because they have to bat in those circumstances which have always been a challenge for the Indian batsmen. Waiting to see some more fabulous matches in the near future.
Cheers for the England Cricket Team! Brilliant performance!
