The last time we saw Lindsay Lohan on screen was in 2013 in Paul Schrader’s “The Canyons”, in which she played Tara, a girl torn between her love for a dominating boyfriend and the new passion for an actor.

Now, she has recently announced that she would be returning to the big screens with her upcoming movie named “Among the Shadows”.

“Among The Shadows” is a supernatural thriller where Lohan plays Patricia, the concerned wife of a European president whom she wants to protect. Patricia hires a private investigator who turns out to be a werewolf.

The movie, set in Brussels, Belgium, is directed by Tiago Mesquita and is written by Mark Morgan and it will be released in March.

Known as “The Shadow Within” during production, “Among The Shadows” stars, other than Lohan in the role of Patricia, also Charlotte Beckett and Gianni Capaldi, playing respectively Detective Kristy Wolfe and Lieutenant McGregor.

Even though “The Canyons” was Lohan’s last movie appearance, she has been seen numerous times on a number of TV series such as “Eastbound & Down”, “2 Broke Girls” and British sensation “Sick Note”.

Lindsay Lohan also has her own reality show called “Lindsay Lohan’s Beach Club” that premiered earlier this month. The plot of the show focuses on Lindsay’s return to fame.

“Among The Shadows” began filming back in 2013 in Brussels but the project was then delayed. In December 2016, Lohan promised her fans that the movie was almost ready and that it would come out soon. However, we can see that the plan did not work out and the release of the film had to be delayed again.
