From collaborating with Miley Cyrus to having their own show J.O.N.A.S, from becoming the Jonas Brothers to breaking up and then coming back again, these three men have sure had a very eventful life and now along with Amazon Prime, intend to let their millions of fans have an insight into their lives.
“Our fans are the best in the world and have shared in our journey as the Jonas Brothers and us as individuals,” said the Jonas Brothers in a statement.
They further added that “In releasing this documentary we wanted to make sure we partnered with an innovative platform, like Amazon, that could reach our fans around the world.”
Kevin, Nick, and Joe, recently released their new single Sucker with Republic records after a six-year-long hiatus and are now going to be joining hands with Amazon studios and Philymack, and Federal Films to produce a documentary of their lives to be aired on Amazon Prime.
The stars had originally started out with just Nick being spotted and signed up by Columbia Records who then saw the potential in his elder brothers and signed all three of them. Their early gigs were all arranged for by their dad and the boys went by the name “Sons of Jonas” before changing it later to The Jonas Brothers.
After their initial album It’s About Time’ (2006) did not do too well and only climbed up to number 91 on the Billboard Album charts, the trio was soon dropped by Columbia records. They were soon signed by Hollywood Records and their singles SOS and Hold on were soon released and climbed further up the charts.
From there on, the band went on for various performances and TV appearances, got their own show and climbed up the ladder of success right up till they split only to get back together again now.
Talking about the documentary, Nick once again praised and thanked their fans for their constant support and said that “It’s going to give people a look into who we are as a family, as brothers and — oh yeah — we were also the Jonas brothers at one time, then we weren’t, and now we are again. So you kind of get the full range of our life story plus our family’s perspective on everything,” Nick said in a statement.
The documentary is eagerly awaited by their fans all around the globe.
