Disney to Boost Its Streaming Service Disney+ With Its Entire Disney Picture Library

Disney has finalized the decision of launching its own online video streaming service, named Disney+.

Last month, it was reported that Netflix will be discontinuing two of the Marvel series, The Punisher, and Jessica Jones. The reason behind their sudden decision of cancelling one of the most popular series on Netflix was rumoured to be the chances of Disney starting its own service, Disney+ very soon.

So now is the time when Disney has itself announced the launch of its own online video streaming service, Disney+.

According to their plan, Disney+ service is going to avail the complete Disney motion picture library, which will ultimately mark the end of ‘Disney Vault’ service.
Disney has reportedly scratched out every Disney entitled series or shows from Netflix and Pixar already.

The report of an investor meeting had taken place today in St. Louis. The CEO of Disney, Bob Iger announced, about their new service in the meeting. He announced that soon after getting started, Disney+ will gather the whole Disney library and along with that many original products as well. He added, “We are producing a number of original movies and original television shows as well that will be Disney branded.”

Also, the announcement ensures that all the 50 plus films directed by Walt Disney Animation Studios will all be gathered on a single platform, reported by source.

The best part of Iger’s announcement came when he said: “All of the films that we’re releasing this year, [starting] with Captain Marvel will also be on the service.”

So, the new upcoming launch of Disney+ is worth the wait as its new service is bringing with it a lot more new releases for its fans.

No announcement about the exact date for the launch of Disney+ has been made yet but it will be launched before the end of this year.
