Rapper Nipsey Hussle Killed in Shooting Near His Los Angeles Store

On Sunday, Grammy-nominated rapper Nipsey Hussle was shot dead outside his clothing store in the south of Los Angeles.

The Los Angeles Times reports that the shooting took place near Marathon clothing and along with the rapper being killed, two other people were also wounded.

The 33-year-old Hussle was shot over multiple times and was immediately taken to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced as dead.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the LAPD spokesperson was sure about the shooting but said,  “We don’t confirm the names of victims,” and further tweeted the details.

The shooting took place approx 3:20 pm. PDT in the Slauson Avenue area and Crenshaw Boulevard.

The Los Angeles Police department tweeted expressing their grief for the loss and confirmed the news on Sunday night.

The last tweet of the rapper in social media read “Having strong enemies is a blessing.”

Hussle’s birth name was Ermias Davidson Asghedom. Back in 2010, he found a record label All Money In which he debuted with his song The Marathon, his fifth official mixtape.

After this shocking news, his fans and celebrities such as Rihanna and Pharell Williams pay tribute to him.

Hussle’s debut studio album “Victory lap” got nominated in the Grammy’s this year for “Best Rap Album.”
