Celine Dion and David Spader recently surprised a couple who were getting married at a chapel in Las Vegas.
The Colorado-based Air Force majors Jason and Kate tied the knot last Friday at Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino where surprisingly, David Spader, the 54-year-old comedy actor, and Celine Dion, the 51-year-old infamous singer, surprised the couple on their special day.
The joyful moment aired live on Jimmy Kimmel show.
At first, Jimmy contacted the couple through video and presided onto the ceremony asking them if anyone objects to their wedding. After which Spade walked into the door holding a blue drink. Guillermo Rodriguez brought out a tray of tequila shots for a pre-wedding toast.
The couple was then pronounced as husband and wife followed by their kiss.
Jimmy said, “Thankfully I know a local performer who has agreed to help you out.”
This scenario led to the entry of Celine Dion who began with her 1996 hit ballad “Because you loved me” for the couple’s first dance.
“I’m Alive” singer made her entry into the ceremony for about 4 minutes.
This is not the first time for Celine Dion to help in her fan’s big day.
Celine is not the only celebrity to surprise her fans. Taylor Swift also helped a man recently to propose to his boyfriend by singing “King of my Heart” and his boyfriend’s answer was yes.
Presently Celine Dion is on a breakaway from her Las Vegas residency at Colosseum at Caesar’s palace. Her show is resuming on May 14 and will continue to run till June.
In July she will be performing at the British Summer Time concert at Hyde Park in London. She will also begin her North American tour in Canada from September.
