Sigourney Weaver, the actor who played the epic role of Ellen Ripley in the original Ridley Scott’s 1979 film series ‘Alien’, recently paid a surprise visit to the high school production team at the North Bergen High School in New Jersey on April 26. The occasion was perfectly timed as it was the 40th anniversary of the film.

The 69-year-old actress visited the Teen cast and crew of ‘Alien: The Play’ which got performed at the school. As per The Hollywood Reporter, the students had previously performed Alien: The Play on March 19 and March 22, which got viral and received a lot of appreciation about its perfectly replicated sets and costumes which was all created by students using recycled material.

Weaver praised and chaired the students and congratulated them for the success of their play.

She said excitedly to all the students, “I am representing all of the ‘Alien’ fans, all over the universe who think what you’re doing is so cool.”

The students and the crew members couldn’t believe the fact that Weaver was there, and few of them mentioned her to be “my childhood hero.”

Previously, when the performance got all the attention, the actress from the official Twitter handle of Alien posted a video of her appreciating the student’s efforts and talent.
