Wonder Woman 1984 New Look Unveiled by Gal Gadot

DC Universe heroic icon Gal Gadot unveiled the new look of the Wonder Woman for the upcoming second installment: Wonder Woman 1984.

The actress Gal Gadot, 34, raised the curtain off the look of Wonder Woman that we are going to witness in the upcoming Wonder Woman 1984 through her official Instagram handle.

Gadot revealed the new look with a caption reading:

“Although all us at Warner Brothers won’t be seeing you at SDCC – Hall H this year. We are so excited for what’s to come. So until then here’s a little gift from us to you….. #ww84”

Gadot also wrote on Twitter that she cannot wait to share Wonder Woman 1984 with all of us and ignited the excitement by dropping the new look poster for the upcoming movie.

The poster unleashes the shiny golden armor worn gracefully by Wonder Woman Gal Gadot with colorfully psychedelic 2 W’s on the backdrop standing for Wonder Woman.

Patty Jenkins, the director of the first part of Wonder Woman, has directed Wonder Woman 1984 too. Through her official Twitter handle, Jenkins unveiled the new poster along with her star Gal Gadot.

The director wrote they feel sad to be missing the SDCC as WB will not be going to Hall H this year. She added that she is very excited, to begin with, the full-fledged campaign for “#WW84”. The team “can barely wait” for it.

As we know, the first part traces the origin of Princess Diana and her transformation into this heroic icon, Wonder Woman. The movie takes us back to a fictional world around the 1910s at the time of the first World War. However, as the name suggests, Wonder Woman 1984 is going to take the audience a few decades back into the 1980s.

While talking to Vulture about Wonder Woman 1984, producer Charles Roven confirmed that the upcoming movie is not the sequel of the first part of Wonder Woman. He mentioned that the director Jenkins does not even like it to be called as the part two since the WW84 is set in a completely different time frame and is based on a story completely unique from Wonder Woman. Per his statement, the movie is full of emotions, humor, action, and tugs at the heartstrings

We did it. Again!! And as much as the first time shooting Wonder Woman was amazing, this time was even more unique and special.. We shot in 4 very different locations in 3 countries, and I'm so soooo proud of the almost 1000 crew members who came to set every day, giving everything they have into our movie. Couldn't ask for better partners on this.. I'm so lucky to have the one and only Patty Jenkins, as my director. She always has our backs, she gives us the wings to dare, and everyday she helped us find the most creative version of ourselves .. I am so grateful to call her my friend. And to our AMAZINGly talented cast who made every day enjoyable and fun, thank you! Honestly.. Words cannot describe this experience.. This journey was so demanding and challenging but we all came and did our very best every take, every day, putting our all out there and I’m so proud… Thank you universe for this opportunity. I love this character. And thank you to all of you for being the best fans in the world. It was you that made me push myself every day. I'm so happy and excited, can't wait to share it with you in 2020! ❤️ Gal
