'Uncharted' Movie Starring Tom Holland Sets Release Date for December 2020

A long-awaited movie named Uncharted has got its release date on December 18, 2020. Sony Pictures announced on Thursday.

Sony will release the movie, which is based on video-games adaptation. The star cast is Tom Holland.

Uncharted released against the Steven Spielberg’s West Side Story remake, which Fox is opening the same day.

The Uncharted movie is directed by Dan Trachtenberg which has also directed the movie 10 Cloverfield Lane and scripted by Jonathan Rosenberg and Mark Walker.

The story based on play-station video game series about the adventures of young treasure hunter Nathan Drake, which is played by the Spiderman star Tom Holland.

Producers of the movie are Avi Arad and Ari Arad along with Charles Roven and Alex Gartner.

Sony has taken a nice decision to put Uncharted in 2020 because Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End has got the tremendous response in the franchise it is supposed that the movie has also expected to have this kind of response.

Moreover, in December there is no such big star release so the movie can get the best response.

With the adventure film Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, which was released in 2017, has achieved tremendous success, now the studio is hoping for Uncharted as well.

We can know many more activities about Uncharted movie as the date of release is December 2020. Production will begin late this year, and star cast announcements will also be soon.

Holland hoped that Sully. Nathan’s mentor played by Jake Gyllenhaal or Chris Pratt. This is only his wish for this project, but neither of the two has been approached. But it will be revealed soon.

Finally, Sony will release Uncharted on December 18, 2020.
