Alec Baldwin Is Done With Playing Donald Trump Role on SNL

Alec Baldwin has completed season 44 of the show Saturday Night Live and doesn’t want to continue with the show in season 45. He is playing the role of Donald Trump.

Baldwin picked up Trump role in the year 2016, 2017. The opening of the show SNL is also not up to the mark.

In an Interview with USA Today, Baldwin told that

“He did not want to play the President Trump character. The production team should find a new face.”

When the show was new, the content was fresh and ratings were also good but as the years passed away it is losing its impressions with the audiences. Baldwin added he deeply feels that he can’t continue to play the character.

Baldwin has some suggestions like to be replaced by the show and offer Trump’s role to any other face like Darrell Hammond and Anthony Atamanuik.

Baldwin told to the US Today that “It also was something I thought to myself: ‘I really don’t have a lot invested in my Trump impersonation, so please find someone and convince Lorne to replace me.’ He just doesn’t want to do it winning Emmy award is a nice feeling but it, not the path he wants to choose. He added, if he wants a job, he will make his own path and take it.

Baldwin continued,

“On weekends, he is not free professionally, as he wants to spend quality time with his kids.”

Presently he is promoting his documentary named  Framing John DeLorean, in which he plays the carmaker in reenactments.
