Ed Sheeran has just released the music video for ‘Cross Me’, the single published last month featuring Chance the Rapper and PnB Rock.

The video, released on Friday, was directed by Ryan Staake and was shot in a motion-capture environment with the participation of a female dancer who transforms into the singers multiple times when their parts come on.

According to Billboard:

“Ed dances around and has his heart literally beating out of his chest at one point in the clip.”

This is the second song extracted from Ed Sheeran’s latest album titled the No.6 Collaborative Project, a pop tracklist made of 15 songs which are all collaborations with famous artists.

The album, originally announced back in May and presented a few days ago, is already available for pre-order and it is set to come out on July 12th. The lineup of featuring singers and rappers boasts music giants such as Camila Cabello, Cardi B, Khalid, Travis Scott, Eminem, Meek Mill, Stormzy and H.E.R. among many others.

Cross me and its innovative video follow the publication of I Don’t Care’, a dance-pop track born from a collaboration between Ed Sheeran and Justin Bieber, which has been at the top of music charts all over the world for six weeks now.

The English singer is currently finishing travelling with his Divide Tour which will end in August this year and is set to become the No.1 concert tour of all time with its stellar $750 million.

As of early June, Ed Sheeran has sold 8.8 million tickets and has performed more than 90 concerts. The ginger-haired British musician who loves to keep a low profile has managed to win the hearts of an entire generation.
