The TCL Chinese Theatre on Hollywood Boulevard glittered like gold after Hollywood celebrities showed up for the world premiere of Quentin Tarantino movie Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.
The movie set in 1969 in Los Angeles is a multicast stunner including Brad Pitt, Leonardo DiCaprio, and Margot Robbie in Lead roles where DiCaprio will be playing a fictional character of Rick Dalton, an actor whose stunt double, Cliff Booth will be portrayed by Brad Pitt.
Handsome duo DiCaprio and Pitt were joined by their co-star Margot Robbie who rocked a white Chanel couture gown and their director Tarantino and so many other Hollywood A-listers for the occasion. The various stars that hyped up the theatre were Chris Hemsworth and his wife Elsa Pataky, Walton Goggins, Snoop Dogg, Topher Grace, Adriana Lima Rob Lowe, Sofia Vergara and husband Joe Manganiello to name a few.
The film is a comedy-drama which (apart from Pitt and DiCaprio’s characters) revolves around many famous faces of the era, such as actor Sharon Tate ( played by Robbie), actor Steve McQueen ( played by Damian Lewis)as well as serial killer Charles Manson(played by Damon Herriman).
Apart from the shine and glam, the highlight of the event was the consideration of this film being the ninth film of Tarantino’s life which is said to be followed by only a tenth attempt.
And while the cast and crew were all praises for Tarantino for his attention to detail. Every minor thing attached to the whole process of film-making was carefully selected. Brad Pitt had some interesting insights on working with his Oscar-winner friend DiCaprio, “He’s a good egg, and I’m really happy the restraining order was lifted off of me, so we were able to work together,” He said. “No, he’s a great egg. We come from the same circles and I really admire his taste and his choices. I’m really happy this one lined up for us. His character in this is hilarious, he throws one of the best tantrums ever laid down on film.” Pitt added.
Meanwhile, DiCaprio also talked about his career and how grateful he is for that, “I feel lucky, is what I feel..I feel lucky to be an actor who’s been able to work this long.”
The movie that will hit the theatre screens on July 26, also stars Al Pacino, Austin Butler, Dakota Fanning, the late Luke Perry, Kurt Russell, and many others.
