On Wednesday, Philadelphia court appeal that the rapper Meek Mill will be getting a new judge and trial.
This new judge and trial are due to the case of drug and conviction back in 2008.
According to sources, the opinion said, “We conclude the after discovered evidence is of such a strong nature and character that a different verdict will likely result in a retrial.”
It seemed that the rapper is happy with the decision of a new trial which can be seen from his recent tweet on twitter.

Mill on probation by the City Judge Genece Brinkly for 10 years. Then in 2017, she was again sent to prison due to a minor violation.
The only witness present at the non jury trial was a drug squad officer. The drug squad officer is now under District Attorney’s do not call list of police officers. This piece of news was reported by Meek’s lawyer, Kim Watterson.
As per Yahoo news, Kim said in the court that, “They do not have confidence in his testimony and will not call him in the retrial.”
Meek Mills’s case also turned out to be a talk among the celebrity rappers like Jay Z who felt and spoke that how black people are harassed by criminal justice every day.
Although there’s a possibility that his case will be retried but there’s also another possibility that the prosecutors might drop the case.
