TV Series Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D is coming to an end and actress Ming-Na Wen who plays the role of Melinda May (also known as the cavalry) couldn’t fight back her emotions as she spoke about their show coming to an end at Comic-Con festival in San Diego that took place this week.

She got teary-eyed while interacting with fans as the SDCC 2019 interview. Her co-star Iain De Caestecker who portrays the role of Leo Fitz, came to her rescue as he offered her his shirt’s sleeve to dab away the tears. The actress then took to Instagram to thank Iain for his kind gesture and to speak out her mind regarding her soon-to-end TV Show. She wrote, “Thank you, Iain, for lending me your sleeve to dab away my tears. I was literally smiling one moment and then crying the next. I had no tissue on hand, so Iain offered up his shirt.”

Thank you, Iain, for lending me your sleeve to dab away my tears. I was literally smiling one moment and then crying the next. I had no tissue on hand, so Iain offered up his shirt. 😘Watching clips from Season 1 & 2 overwhelmed me with emotions. When Jeph Loeb asked me about how I felt when I learned how Agent May got the nickname “the cavalry,” my answer rambled to memories of those early years with this amazing family and all the wonderful people behind those remarkable images. From crew, to vfx, to set builders, makeup & hair, designers, writers, producers, production office, painters, construction worker, casting, post, composer…I didn’t have the chance to list all the departments before my eyes started welling up. We’re shooting our last episode this week. Our series finale. It just all hit me at once that this incredible playground I’ve had had the greatest honor to play in for the last 7 years will be over soon. I felt embarrassed that I couldn’t hold it together. So not The Cavalry. Sitting in Hall H at #sdcc in front of our fans, the reason we do all this work for….thank you to God, Buddha & the Force for this. Thank you @marvel, @abcnetwork for keeping us on for 7 kickass seasons. 👏❤️🥰 It will be tough not seeing our ragtag gang on a regular basis, but I’m so grateful for this ride. What a blast! ❤️❤️🥰

The post shared by Wen captures the exact moment when she broke down and Iain offered her his sleeve while actress Elizabeth Henstridge looked at them with awe. The Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D will air its last season (seven) next year and the shooting for the same is almost at the end.
