At the D23 expo, Christina Aguilera performed the song Reflection from Mulan at Anaheim. The D23 exposition, the official fan club for The Walt Disney Company organizes the exposition every year.

Christina Aguilera had sung the song Reflection for Mulan, released in 1998 and the audience at the Disney Legends Ceremony, got listen to it live after more than 20 years of its release.

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Christina how special this moment is for her as she said, “I auditioned with the song Reflection and it coincided with getting my first record deal And tomorrow, yeah, it’s the 20th anniversary of the debut album. And the fact that I sang Reflection, which jumpstarted everything, getting my foot in the door”

Soon after her performance at the convention, Christina was inducted as a Disney Legend. Along with Christina Aguilera, Robert Downey Jr. among the 12 other personalities became Disney Legends at that convention. Disney Legend is the recognition provided by the company to those who have made profound contributions to the Disney legacy.

As Christina accepted the award she said, “This is way cooler than a Grammy, I just have to say! Thank you, Bob Iger. This is tremendous. You don’t understand. I may be the ultimate Disney fan. Thank you so much for this amazing honor. I love this. This is so special, I’m like shaking. I’ve been holding back tears all day.”

The former The All-New Mickey Mouse Club member took it Twitter to express her joy over being honored as a Disney Legend at the convention and thanked her followers for their constant support.

Christina Aguilera also met Bill Farmer who has been the voice of the Disney character Goofy since 1987! In the clip, she posted on Twitter of meeting the man who has been the give begins Goofy for almost 32-years, she asked him to do a-bit and expressed how amazing it was.

The Disney D23 exposition was held from 23rd to 25th August at Anaheim Convention Center.
