The fire which broke out in Glendale on 25th August resulted in a mandatory evacuation of more than 100 homes and the cause of the fire is unknown.

According to the Los Angeles fire officials, the fire broke out around the interchange of the 2 and 134 freeways at the border of Glendale. After the fire was reported, for safety reasons the particular freeways were shut down.

After hearing the news of the fire, the 17-year-old singer and YouTuber Loren Gray sent out tweets expressing concern over the situation and the extent of damage caused.

Luckily Loren was in the mountains with her family and they weren’t directly affected. However, the highways to her house being shut down were scary enough for the young star, as it remained unclear at that moment how she was going to reach home.

Few hours after the fire broke out, it spread across 30 acres until it was contained. Thankfully no one was injured by this incident nor there was any structural damage.

There was heavy smoke in the area and fire had spread in both sides of the freeway. The 215 firefighters stayed at the location all night taking care of the situation at hand.

The firefighters received aid for the clearance of the fire by LAFD and LACF who sent helicopters which provided continuous water drops.

Another time when the cause of a fire break out was not known was in November 2018 in Calabasas. The fire had caused mandatory evacuation of several families including those of Kim Kardashian, Lady Gaga and Caitlyn Jenner.  Kim addressed the situation and sent prayers for those affected.

The Calabasas fire killed three people and damaged 1,643 structures. We’re glad the fire at Glendale didn’t result in such great damage and harm.
