Lili Reinhart shares screen with the lead Jennifer Lopez along with Constance Wu, Julia Stiles, Cardi B, and Keke Palmer among others for their film ‘Hustlers’ releasing on 13th September. The film is based on an article by Jessica Pressler from the New York Magazine, published in December 2015.

Lili shared a picture from when the film premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival Toronto on September 7th captioned “I can only hope that I’m lucky enough to have many more nights like last night. This has been an experience I will cherish for the rest of my life— it feels so surreal. I’m so honored to be in Hustlers and can’t wait for everyone to see the incredible work of the women involved.”

Lili Reinhart plays the character of a stripper named Annabelle in ‘Hustlers’ written and directed by Lorene Scafaria. The film beautifully shows the relationship the women have with each other in their circumstances.

Lili’s character has an interesting behavioral characteristic that she vomits each time she’s anxious, making it very comedically appealing. In an interview with Refinery29, the actress shared what it exactly was like “I was a little intimidated at first because I had no idea what that situation was going to be like because I had never done that before, but it was really just a comedic moment. It was purely out of Annabel being nervous and scared. When she’s overwhelmed, she throws up. It’s gross, but to me, it’s kind of cute and just sort of emphasizes her childlikeness through physical manifestation.”

The film’s writer-director Lorena Scafaria didn’t want her actors to change their physique for the film. She wanted to have a cast of women of different sizes and backgrounds, not trying to fit anyone in a box. Lorena didn’t want her actors to conform to a standard as Lili shared an interview with Entertainment Tonight “She just wanted all shapes and sizes and women of so many backgrounds, which is f**king amazing. I feel like – obviously – there are so many people who would say the opposite and try and put me on a fitness regime and diet plan.”

‘Hustlers’ features the sisterhood among the women and the lives they live which, it’s a movie about women who strip and not about strippers. ‘Hustlers’ is being widely appreciated by critics since its premiered at Toronto’s International Flim Festival.

The film will be released worldwide on 13th September, to book tickets and know about the film visit its official website.
