Gigi and Bella Hadid wore coordinated outfits from Tommy Hilfiger’s new collaboration with Zendaya, as they attended the Tommy Hilfiger x Zendaya Show at New York Fashion Week.

Gigi and Bella Hadid gathered attention as they stood out at the NYFW wearing coordinated outfits from the collection. Gigi Hadid chose to wear a printed jumpsuit, it had the initials ‘Z’ for Zendaya and Bella wore a white t-shirt, blazer, and trousers finishing it up with a cap. Bella Hadid confessed her love for the collection as she captioned a picture of herself from the show “@zendaya made this hat so I shall wear this hat until I can no longer wear this hat anymore @tommyhilfiger”

Gigi Hadid has also previously collaborated with Tommy Hilfiger on four different collections. Gigi showcased her last collaboration with Tommy in Milan Fashion Week in February 2018. Gigi Hadid’s rumored boyfriend Tyler Cameron also attended the show, however, they did not pose together on the red carpet nor were they seated together at the show.

In a statement, Tommy Hilfiger shared his experience in collaborating with Zendaya “Zendaya’s desire to bring TommyNow to Harlem felt like an amazing next step in expressing her vision for the future. Her statement-making point of view in everything she does is what makes her such an inspiring collaborator. It is an honor to continue to provide her with a platform in the fashion industry to share this.”

The show evidently attempted to make a statement with diverse models, including women of color and plus-size models. Even at the show for the release of the first collection of Tommy Hilfiger x, Zendaya in Paris in March this year the runway model cast was all black from the ages 18 to 70.

In a statement where she spoke about her collaboration with Tommy, the actress said “Tommy called me, I didn’t really believe it at first. ‘Tommy Hilfiger on the phone?’ and he said, ‘Look, if you do a show with me, you can have whatever you want and do whatever you want. Go nuts. If you have a vision, tell me, and we’ll execute it together.”
