Elizabeth Henstridge turned 32-years-old on September 11th and received warm birthday wishes from her Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D fellow cast members to commemorate the day.

While the cast and crew of the Marvel-branded show finished filming the seventh and last season back in July, thus ending the journey they embarked on together, they have all remained close as showed by the incredible amount of affection showed toward Henstridge on social media on her special day.

Chloe Bennet, Brett Dalton, Clark Gregg, Ming-Na Wen, Jeff Ward and many others all posted on their Instagram account a kind though for their friend.

In April, Elizabeth Henstridge shared a joyous post on Instagram where she shared with her followers the news about her engagement to her long-time boyfriend Zachary Burr Abel.

On the day of his fiance’s birthday, Zachary took the time to write a long poem expressing his love for Elizabeth by letting out a glimpse of how it all started for the two. He wrote: “Hi I’m Zach, my friends call me Lil, and there it started, that whisper of a thrill. A few scenes later, maybe a day, I couldn’t stop thinking, what is underway.

“…I couldn’t be happier, or more proud of you bubba, I couldn’t imagine my life any other. Bring on the church, friends, family with vows and, me professing my own, love you 3000”

Happy Birthday my love, how could it be, that my best friend is also, my gorgeous fiancée I’ve planned us a trip, with a pilot no plane, it’s a trip of our ship, it’s down memory lane. I was Mitch, you were Grace, when we started this race, no idea one day, those memories we’d trace It involved a Bad Robot, JJ, and a Burk, but ultimately the suits decided it didn’t work But we got the pickup, to series we went, seven years later, syndication, my knee bent. Backup, too fast, how did it start…when did you each give eachother your heart It started in the works, hair and makeup you say, as I was getting powder, and your hair was underway Hi I’m zach, my friends call me Lil, And there it started, that whisper of a thrill A few scenes later, maybe a day, I couldn’t stop thinking, what is underway Do you like red, I kinda prefer white Should we have one more, or call it a night And then as it happens, we both started to stumble, or rather to fall, and forward we tumbled Down came our shields, you became agent, my life grew full, in areas once vacant. I couldn’t be happier, or more proud of you bubba, I couldn’t imagine my life any other Bring on the church, friends, family with vows and, me professing my own, love you 3000 @lil_henstridge ••• #happybirthday

Chloe Bennet, who played the character of ‘Daisy Johnson’ on Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D, posted an adorable clip of her and Elizabeth on the sofa holding hands captioned: “…I know “technically” you’re engaged to @zacharyburrabel and you guys are in “love” or whatever. But we all know where the real lovelies…. 🥰😎. You’re a real angel. I LOVE YOU…”

Known for playing ‘Grant Ward’ in the Marvel’s television series alongside Chloe Bennet, Brett Dalton also posted a picture in honor of Elizabeth’s birthday captioned: “Happy birthday to this gem of a human @lil_henstridge who very well might be a real live”.

In an interview with Collider, in response to a question about working with the majoritarian female cast on the show, Elizabeth Henstridge said: “It’s amazing. We’re also surrounded by men that support women being in those positions. The magic happens when it doesn’t feel like a fight, but it just feels natural and right.”

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D final season is set to air anytime from early to mid-2020 on ABC.
